Pick whichever shifts suit your availability - think of making a routine out of your shift selection so that it is easier for you to remember.

GUIDELINES FOR PICKETERS
[This is text from CUPE Toronto District Council]

The picket line belongs to the union. Take instructions only from your local's Picket Captain or the representatives of the Strike Committee.
Report to you Picket Captain prior to the start and at the completion of your picket duty.
Ensure that you have signed in and out at the start and completion of your picket shift.
Picket signs are to be worn and carried while on duty.
Members must patrol the assigned area, keep the picket line moving and refrain from loitering.
Any person attempting to cross the picket line must be informed of the strike and requested to respect the picket line.
Should a person be violent, argumentative or abusive while attempting to cross the picket line, try and secure their name, address, company, and the license number of their vehicle.
Nothing is to be consumed, including alcohol and drugs, that will impair your ability to effectively carry you your picket line duties.
Conversations with the general public should be as courteous as possible.
Refer all media to the Picket Captain.
